This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use Dating Advice, including through datingadvice.me and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

We do not intentionally send your account name or email address to an AI provider merely to generate a response. However, information you voluntarily include within a conversation, image, audio recording, or other content may itself identify you or another person.
Third-party AI providers process information according to the technical configuration applicable to the Service and their applicable contractual terms, privacy practices, and data controls. Provider practices and technical configurations may change over time.
We therefore do not promise that information processed by an AI provider is never temporarily retained under any circumstances.
Dating Advice does not operate its own foundation AI model and does not use your private conversations to train a proprietary Dating Advice AI model.
Our infrastructure and AI service providers maintain their own policies regarding model training, service improvement, security, and data processing.
Where available, we configure privacy and data controls intended to reduce unnecessary retention or secondary use of end-user content.
If you upload an image or other supported file, we may store that file so that the Service can provide the requested functionality and maintain your conversation history.
Uploaded content may also be transmitted to an AI provider when necessary to process your request.
Permanently deleting a conversation removes its associated uploaded images and files from active application storage. Account deletion also initiates cleanup of uploaded images and files associated with your account, together with your conversations.
We verify ownership before deleting files associated with a conversation or account and use safeguards that support safe retries if deletion fails.
You should not upload content that you do not have the right to provide or content containing unnecessary personal information about another person.
Payments for paid Dating Advice services are processed by a third-party payment provider, currently Paddle.
Dating Advice does not directly store your complete payment-card information.
We may receive and maintain information necessary to manage your subscription, such as:
Our payment provider may independently collect and retain billing, transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and other information according to its own legal obligations and privacy practices.
Deleting your Dating Advice account does not necessarily cause information independently maintained by a payment provider to be deleted.
Dating Advice does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising systems or advertising trackers to monitor your activity across unrelated websites for targeted advertising.
We may collect or receive limited operational information necessary to run, secure, diagnose, and understand the technical performance of the Service.
Certain third-party resources used by the Service, such as payment services, hosting infrastructure, fonts, or other network resources, may receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address when your browser connects to them.
If our analytics, advertising, or tracking practices materially change, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.
We may disclose or make information available to third parties when reasonably necessary to operate the Service.

Conversation history is generally retained while your account remains active unless it is otherwise deleted in accordance with available Service functionality.
Permanently deleting a conversation removes that conversation, its messages, and its associated uploaded images and files from active application storage. It does not automatically delete information in other conversations or unrelated account records.
Cancelling a paid subscription does not by itself delete your Dating Advice account or conversation history.
If you choose to delete your Dating Advice account, our account-deletion process initiates cleanup of information associated with your account from the active Service, including:
Deletion from active systems does not necessarily mean that every copy disappears instantaneously from all infrastructure.
Database backups may temporarily contain information that existed before conversation or account deletion. The provider's current backup retention period has not been verified, so we do not promise a specific timeframe for removal of backup copies.
Uploaded storage files are maintained separately from database backups and are not included in those database backups under our current infrastructure configuration.
Copies may also remain in browser or provider caches, and logs may retain information according to separate retention practices. Provider cache and log retention periods have not been verified. Successful deletion checks confirmed that tested files were no longer accessible through their original storage paths or URLs, but this does not guarantee immediate erasure of every cached copy. Copies previously downloaded or independently saved cannot be remotely erased by Dating Advice.
Third-party providers may independently retain certain information according to their own policies, contracts, security requirements, or legal obligations.
For example, a payment provider may retain transaction and billing records after your Dating Advice account has been deleted.
You may request or initiate deletion of your Dating Advice account using the account-deletion functionality provided through the Service.
Deleting your account is different from cancelling a paid subscription.
Cancelling a subscription stops future subscription renewals according to the applicable cancellation terms but does not automatically erase your Dating Advice account or conversation history.
Account deletion is intended to remove your account and associated user content from the active Dating Advice Service and cancel an associated active subscription, subject to processing already underway, backup retention, legal requirements, and records independently maintained by third parties.
Account deletion is permanent and may not be reversible.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no website, application, database, network transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Dating Advice may be used to discuss personal relationships and experiences. As a result, users may voluntarily provide information concerning subjects such as relationships, emotional experiences, sexual experiences, health, abuse, finances, family circumstances, or other sensitive matters.
You are not required to provide information simply because the Service allows you to discuss it.
Please consider what information is necessary before sharing identifying or highly sensitive information about yourself or another person.
Dating Advice is not designed to serve as a secure repository for medical records, financial-account credentials, government identification numbers, passwords, or similarly high-risk records.

Dating Advice is intended exclusively for adults age 18 and older.
